Alex Torres is a Peruvian flamenco/folk/world guitarist, composer, and arranger. During his 15 years as a musician, he has already performed in different countries in South America, North America and Europe, and gained a vast musical experience.
Son of famed Peruvian guitarist Pepe Torres, Alex has the music going through his veins. From the age of 10 he started performing next to his father several times in Peru and around the world.
In 2012 he released his first album as a soloist; called “La Vida es un Viaje” (Life is a trip), where it can be noticed Alex’s versatility to perform Classic, Peruvian, and Flamenco guitar; as well as to create original songs developing his own style.
In September 2014 Alex began his jazz studies at the “Franz Liszt Music Academy” in Budapest, Hungary.
He resides in Budapest now, while he continues working on his Second Album, to be released the first half of 2015.
